Q: is there any American immigration lawyers in the united Arab emirates?,?
I need to get my spouse who is an alien , an immigrant visa to the states, but we live in the UAE and i cannot find any immigration lawyers here, have any one gone through the same so can help me with that?
A: Actually, if you are a legal resident of the UAE, you should be able to file your petition directly at the US embassy in Abu Dhabi. You should certainly go there and ask. It would save a great deal of time processing the petition itself. In all probability, you won't need an attorney to help you with the forms. Check out the embassy website at http://abudhabi.usembassy.gov/general_information6.html
Q: Calling american immigration lawyers/ppl with an american greencard?
I have an american pernament resident card, I plan on being out of america for at least 1 year...maybe more. When I was sent the card it said you had to apply for some document if you were planning to be gone 1 year or more. However I'm finding it difficult to find the document. If anyone knows of the type of document, and the link, please list it here. It would be greatly appreciated!
Anyone had any experience with this type of thing?
A: The form is an I-191

Q: Why dont we all Americans just become immigration lawyers and make money out of the illegals?
The more money we have... the lesser we hate.
Check out my other questions.
A: I am reporting this as an Abuse of our intelligence and a waste of our time.
Q: What do I need to do to marry an American - Should I use an Immigration Lawyer?
I will soon be entering America on a Visa Waiver document. My partner (with an American Passport) and I (living in the UK with a
British Passport) intention to marry.
We would like to live together in America, and I would like to know the
possibilities of what Visa's/Documentation/Processes we will need to do this.
All help in this matter is greatly appreciated.
A: Get references and check into a good lawyer. They can answer all your questions, take care of confusing paperwork, and take care of everything for you. Yes, it's more expensive than doing it yourself, but unless you're well educated in immigration laws, it's the smartest choice.
Q: Do you agree or disagree with Obama on immigration?

A: I can simply add this to the very long list of reasons I would never vote for Obama.

Q: Does the Statue of Liberty stand for liberty or for immigration?
It was always my understanding that the statue was given to the U.S. to symbolize liberty; it was never set up or constructed to have anything to do with immigration. Our liberty has been stolen by the immigration advocates and its original meaning has been corrupted by pandering politicians, uninformed citizens and hungry immigration lawyers.
Polls indicate that more than 80 percent of Americans want illegal immigration stopped and legal immigration reduced to sustainable numbers. What is it about this issue that the panderers don't understand?
A: they understand but most of them have been in washington for so long they believe the will of the people is not important! Unfortunately, we keep voting them back in so why should they do any different?
Q: How much does a immigration lawyer cost?
I have two american girls, 3 and 1. Only income I get is child support. ( 800 per month). I do not Have a visa but I have a mexican passport till 2011. Been in US since 2002. Is it going to be more for this. Do not want to go back to mexico. Need help. One daughters father is threaten to go to immigration because he doesn't want to pay me child support. None of the fathers would help me get legal.
A: I hate to say this and I wish there was something I could tell you but you cannot do much and if you do leave you will have to leave your daughters behind because they are U.S. citizen with citizen fathers and you cannot take them out of the country without their permission. If you do leave, maybe the fact that that they're deabbeats could help you but you would need a really good lawyer and those are expensive.
Plus, no offense but Mexico is c***hole. You will not be able to provide for your girls and as much as it pains me to say this you should remember that at least in foster care your kids won't starve like they would in Mexico. I'm really sorry but you will have to wait for immigration reform, marriage to a citizen who will sponsor you, or until your 3 year old turns 21.
Q: Anyone know any good Immigration Lawyers?
My fiance was born in mexico to an American citizen and brought here when he was 1. He is now 30 and dealing with possible deportation. He grew up here, but has a felony charge on his record. If anyone can offer us some advise, I'd appreciate it. If you aren't going to offer me any advise and only criticize, please dont.
A: What state are you in? Can the felony be expunged? Is it the only black mark on his record? The fact that he has an American parent is helpful....
Contact me thru the yahoo service and I'll try to help you....
Q: How can I find a good immigration lawyer?
My aunt got married to a US citizen. They got married in the country of her citizenship. However, for some strange reason, her husband's petition was denied. He, of course, appealed it. Besides, he wrote two more petitions, both of which were approved. However, the American embassy in the country of her citizenship says that they are not going to issue her a visa until they hear a positive response to my uncle's first petition's appeal.
This process has been going on for 3 years now. This is becoming unbearable and the dilemma now is: should my uncle withdraw his appeal and expect the Embassy to let his wife in based on two approved petitions. Or should he continue waiting for the appeal decision, not knowing how much longer he has to wait.
I will appreciate if someone can recommend us a lawyer who can help us with this case.
I live in NY

Q: This is why they support the Immigration bill!?
You are about to see immigration lawyers screw over American IT workers and help corporations hire illegals, to replace the American workers and prevent them from being hired in the future.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TCbFEgFajGU
Remember those politicians who supported the immigration bill. Remeber the likes of Ted Kennedy, Dennis Kucinich, McCain, Obama, Hilliary Clinton when they make another "save America jobs" speech, and lie to your face.
Do not let these traitorous rats distract you with th Iraq war, do not let them back into office.
Now if I can find videos of politicians explaining why they want the illegals vote to stay in power.
Remember most immigrants and illegals are here in the U.S to undercut and replace American workers, they want your job! How would they feel if Americans went to India or elsewhere and offered to work for less?
And to think that fellow Americans support this out of greed or self loathing hate AKA Socialism.
Yes typically the immigrant is under qualified. But that is not what matters. What matters is they cost less.
A: Exactly.
Q: What do you think 400,000 babies are born in the United States to mothers who are illegal immigrants.?
Each year, an estimated 400,000 babies are born in the United States to mothers who are illegal immigrants. More than 25 percent of those babies are born in California.
Although Congress has never passed a law saying so, no president has ever ordered it, and no court has ever ruled on the issue, each of these babies automatically becomes a U.S. citizen when it takes its first breath.
That could change if legislation that Rep. Dan Lungren, R-Gold River, joined in sponsoring in April becomes law.
Lungren, who served as California's attorney general from 1990 to 1998 and worked on the last successful push for an immigration overhaul when he represented Long Beach in the Congress in the 1980s, said he is trying to stimulate a debate on what he believes is a key factor drawing immigrants illegally across the U.S.-Mexico border.
Critics have another word for it.
"Xenophobia," said Crystal Williams, deputy director of the American Immigration Lawyers Association. "They are afraid of having more Hispanic citizens."
Contributing to the evolution of U.S. policy is the 14th Amendment to the Constitution. Ratified in 1868, after the Civil War, it was intended to ensure that children of freed slaves were extended U.S. citizenship. The amendment states simply that anyone born in the United States and "subject to the jurisdiction thereof," is a citizen.
U.S. policy has come to recognize "birthright citizenship" in just about every vital transaction.
http://www.sacbee.com/111/story/370050.html
A: Maybe a law should be introduce that illegals who have a child here, are not granted US citizenship to the child but the home country of the mother instead; The birth rate would dramatically drop this was the case. As the mother did NOT have the right to be here in the first place.
Once the child has reached adult hood they can apply to change their status and become a US citizen
We do not need more illegals having kids here, and then leaving them here, like that lady did recently, (I can not remember her name), saying that she was forced to do that by the US.
However having a child in the US today does NOT give you the right to US citizenship or the Green card, however many illegals fail to understand or grasp this fact.
Q: Have you seen Section 1639 of the bill?
4. Permanent Jobs for Agricultural Workers. S. 1639 offers an especially sweet deal for illegal agricultural workers once they obtain their Z-A visas. In Section 622 (b), the bill states, "No alien granted a Z-A visa may be terminated from employment by any employer during the period of a Z-A visa except for just cause."
Employers who dare to fire newly legalized aliens holding Z-A visas would do so at their own peril. The bill would create yet another administrative court system to review complaints by Z-A agricultural workers "who allege that they have been terminated without just cause." If the administrative hearing officer finds that the alien has established reasonable cause to believe that he was fired without just cause, the alien and the former employer must enter binding arbitration proceedings supervised by an arbitrator whose fees are paid by taxpayers. The burden is on the employer to demonstrate by a preponderance of the evidence that he fired the alien for just cause. To give the alien yet another legal boost, this special administrative process is non-exclusive. In other words, the alien may sue the employer at the same time in state or federal court for damages if any relevant causes of action are available.
Conclusion
On top of an already complicated immigration court system, S. 1639 would layer a complex mix of parallel administrative courts with nebulous standards and vulnerabilities to fraud. This new system would be an immigration lawyer's playground. Absconders would see their cases reopened, and the addition of poorly drafted new statutory language to already voluminous immigration laws and regulations would make the Internal Revenue Code look simple.
Aside from the 12 million to 20 million illegal aliens who would receive amnesty, the biggest beneficiaries of this legal morass are the immigration lawyers who would bill millions of dollars representing their clients as the cases drag on. That is not entirely surprising, because the American Immigration Lawyers Association reportedly played a central role in drafting the Senate bill. It is also a natural consequence when a bill is drafted behind closed doors and shielded from the normal process of committee scrutiny.

A: "LET" them pay taxes? Like we have been stopping them from doing that??
Wake up and smell the enchelada.
Hiring a Z-A card holder will be financial suicide but then again, it will be China's problem since they're buying USA while they export boatload by boatload in.
Generations ago, America was founded by people who WANTED to be Americans. Meet the new breed of foreigner immigrant. They ONLY WANT TO LIVE in America. They don't want to BE AMERICANS.

Q: American husband and child, and i have no where to live. How can I get to the states faster?
My husband and i got married last year, and we had a baby and now i am pregnant again and i have just been diagnosed with gestational diabetes. both he and my son are US citizens, and when my baby is born in a few months, he will be too. for the past year and a half we have been living in the middle east where i have a residency until next month. My husband has been unable to find good work here, so we have decided that it is best that he goes back to the states to look for a job while we save some money so we can pay for my US immigration paperwork for my K3 visa.
the problem is, after my residency expires in Bahrain i will have to leave this country and go someplace else. It will take a while for my paperwork to go through and for me to get my K3 visa. my country of citizenship is egypt and i have no home or family there. my parents live in the UAE which is very difficult for me to get into. i went through hell and back to get a visit visa that is valid for just one month to the UAE to visit my parents, so i know there is no way that i can stay with them there. I can not stay in bahrain because my residency cannot be renewed, and i have absolutely no place to stay in in Egypt.
I am wondering if there is some other immigration path my husband and i could take to get me to the states faster. It is not just for me, but my son and my unborn child are also at stake and they are both US citizens. Unfortunately my husband can't take my son with him because he would have no one to care for him while he went to work. so pretty much, im stuck in limbo for the next month, and after the 7th of september i will have nowhere to go. we cant afford an immigration lawyer, and we also have not had enough money to be able to start my paperwork yet.
in answer to the questions:
when my baby is born in few months, he will automatically become a US citizen because his father, my husband, is american.
and i didn't sit around and wait for a miracle, we knew my residency was up soon which is why my husband spent the last 6 months looking for a good job that would sustain us and renew my residency. In bahrain, and other parts of the middle east i believe, the family of an employee is granted residency at the request of the employer.
seeing as how my husband could not find a job that would renew my residency or a job that was good enough for us to survive on, that's when we decided he should go back to the states and find a job there which is why im in the predicament im in now.
A: Your paperwork is only $355.
You could look into Humanitarian Parole. I don't think you'll get it because, technically, you're not inadmissible, but it might be worth a try...
Humanitarian Parole
What is Humanitarian Parole?
The Secretary of the Department of Homeland Security may, in his discretion, parole into the United States temporarily, under such conditions as he may prescribe on a case-by-case basis, for urgent humanitarian reasons or significant public benefit, any alien applying for entry to the United States.
Humanitarian Parole cannot be used to circumvent normal visa-issuing procedures, nor as an instrument to bypass preference immigrant visa availability or processing for refugee status. Absent urgent circumstances, unless all other legal immigration avenues (such as applying for a non-immigrant visa) have first been exhausted by an alien, parole will not be approved. Parole is an extraordinary measure, sparingly used to bring an otherwise inadmissible alien into the United States for a temporary period of time due to a very compelling emergency.
Note that Humanitarian Parole can only be requested for persons who are outside of the U.S. Requests for Humanitarian Parole must be submitted to the following address:
Department of Homeland Security
USCIS
Attn; Chief, International Operations Division
20 Massachusetts Avenue, NW Suite 3300
Washington, DC 20529
To expedite the processing, the use of express mailing is recommended.

Q: I'm an American who wants permanent residency in Australia?
Can I get residency through investment in (or buying) a business in Oz, even if I don't start or run the business? I have read that I can't on the Ministry of Immigration site. Is this so or is there something an immigration lawyer could suggest?
A: You must bring something to the country my friend.
If you are there to lay down they want you to stay were you are at.
The website gives points to see if they want you or not for all you know.
